If memory serves, some people (well, at least one person
) asked in the firmware request thread to have the title displayed all the time. I don't know if there is a relation between that and the fact it was implemented, though.
I still don't have that update, but I hope it will fix a bug I'm experiencing which makes the bottom of the last line disappear when the home page or the menu is invoked.
