I agree with LeserattePD. It does impact my decision and personal recommendation on which reader to buy but in a negative way.
I don't have a problem if vendors offer exclusive content in the form of early chapter samples or if they come out with books with exclusive bonus content. Exclusive publishing deals are different though.
