That's not even vaguely true. Gondwana split to form a bunch of little continents, including Australia and Antarctica. Unless you count the very hairy idea that some of the sedimentary rock making up each continent possibly came from rock that now forms the other, and even that's dubious IMO.

Of course, I once was Moses by exactly the same reasoning...
