2 years it's a lot for a tablet. After two years, even for a well known company like Apple or Amazon, the tablet should be reaching its end of software's support, and hardware's warranty. Same goes for eink readers.
Let's face it! Tablets are more or less, disposable devices now. They are not like those ancient PCs that we used to keep running until dead.
