I have Netflix and Twitter obtained from the Play Store, they can be upgraded when I checked this morning. There is no 'N' on the app when I looked on the list for all apps so I know it came from the Play Store. When I launched into Nook side, no apps need to be updated so all that is being checked for upgrade there are Nook's apps loaded from their store. I guess that makes sense.
