If I copy the same text fragment from the same epub file from within EPUBReader, MobiPocket or Sigil Preview then all I get is the text.
If I copy the same text fragment from the equivalent PDF within XChange Reader then all I get is the text, I don't get the underlying Postcript
If I copy a fragment of this post all I get is the text - I don't get all the underlying HTML that's put there by the forum software.
IMO it's Calibre's viewer that's the exception to the rule.
