Hi locals, I've tried searching but have had no luck. I dropped my DX and now I'm having problems with it.

What's happening is when I plug my Kindle into my computer, it will recognize the device momentarily (windows will usually offer to repair the drive) and before I can interact with it the icon will disappear from My Computer. It still charges the device, albeit slowly, but I cannot put any new content on it. My Kindle is still reading what it has on it without issue, it's just a matter of time until I run out of books though!

Has anyone else had this problem? I have no interest in getting a new, smaller Kindle and would be happy to repair it if I knew what the problem was.
