Okay, this is something that never happens. Ever. I wrote a 13-page article on the whole process of getting an ebook out, including the community aspect I've happily encountered here. I wrote it at one sitting (that's part of what never ever happens), and sent it to the editor of the SFWA Bulletin. (SFWA is the Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers of America.) Twelve minutes later I had an email back saying he was going to run it.

Talk about instant gratification.

Someone in another thread said I ought to let other writers know about the help we can get from communities like this one. I think I just managed to do that.
