I've found that functionality on my Kindle quite useful, so it'll be a shame if I can't replicate it on the Nook.
Interestingly, last night the book I'm reading on the Nook opened at the start instead of where I'd left it. I then got a message telling me that I was on page xxx on another device, and did I want to go to that page? I tapped yes, and it moved to where I'd finished reading earlier.
