On the other hand, in /bin/kobo_config.sh this firmware recognizes model E606C as dragon, which should be the codename for Aura...
After a factory reset on the Aura and using the desktop app to update, I grabbed the .tgz file from the .kobo directory before ejecting the Aura and it was identical (size, checksums) to the one in the mark 4 .zip file. As you noticed, there is no dragon folder in the slideshow folder. I was tempted to delete the dragon folder and see if it was recreated but am saving that project for a long weekend.
