I just tried looking up 'temporary' on both my Glo and AuraHD. It is fw 2.5.1 and the same sideloaded standard epub in both cases.

I don't see a right boundary cut off on either device On the Glo the final word of the second definition, 'summer', is on page 2, but that's not what you meant is it?
