1) if the question is PRS+ related please post in the PRS+ thread in DEV-subforum
or even better in the PRS+Support-Group

2) sounds like you have messed up with the "base-directory" or "don't scan options" especially if you have set it to "don't scan use cache" and deleted the cache-files. But on the other hand at least books should show up in "Browse folders"
