All of my books are sideloaded books. I try to put as many books as I can in the main memory, because I prefer how the covers are handled there better than how they are handled on the SD card. However, I do have a large SD card on there and that's where I put any book that shows to be larger than 5mb when in calibre, such as books with lots of pictures or whatever.
If Kobo ever makes it so that covers are handled as well on SDcard as they are on the main memory I will definitely start keeping all of my books on that instead.
