I broke my Kindle Keyboard 3 weeks after getting it, simply by putting it (in a padded Timbuk2 sleeve) into my bag together with iPod & iPad. Obviously those were more robust and the padding was not enough.
Good thing about Kindle was that Amazon replaced it immediately.
