Still it is very interesting to imagine how durable will the 5600mAh battery be.
Widening the gap around the case with 3mm rubber cord (might also require slightly longer screws) could make this a workable solution.... it would make the whole unit 3mm thicker, of course. The rubber cord is sold in jewelry stores, and probably elsewhere.
