Thank you for trying to help, it is much appreciated. Unfortunately, I don't think the font/font size/spacing is close enough to really compare. I cropped a line from your image so I could compare a few words side by side and the Kindle font takes up more room than the Aura font which distorts things quite a bit. It is very difficult to tell just by looking though.
Maybe a better way of comparing the vertical space available would be to simply measure a full page of text, from the top of an upper case letter on the first line to the bottom of a letter on the last line (not a "p" or "g" etc though). My PW has 11cm vertical space available for text - font Helvetica, size 11. Please can someone lucky enough to have an Aura measure the amount of screen available vertically for the actual book text, excluding title, page numbering etc.
I am tempted by the Aura, even though there aren't any slim covers in bright colours, but don't want to hold a larger heavier reader if the available space for text is practically the same. I know it will be better than the Glo or Touch but wondering about the Paperwhite, or even the Sonys.
