davidfor No and yes. Just turn the wireless off. The device won't turn it on again unless you do it. And applying the firmware update has never changed my settings.
No it seems after a week or less the device says things are corrupt and then itself goes back to the old firmware. seems its happen if I add a weird book or some DRM thing(suspect only)
is there a preh-acked version i can just drop on the device? have it boot update and then never have to change it again, just want it to be a reader for the kids, nothing fancy(RMA'ed it as well to see what was up, they said nothing sent it back)
