I remember when I got my Franklin Ebookman ereader. I don't recall how many books it could hold but it had a (I think) primitive lcd display and a battery charge lasted only 4 hrs at most. On the other hand it only cost me around $50.00 for a brand new one still in the box through ebay. Kindles are far superior.
