You may even find that your bank offers one of them. It's a big world, and whilst you may seldom buy items outside of the US, people often buy internationally these days. That can mean currency conversion fees and all sorts of inconveniences. It actually gives me a bit of a tickle to see folks in the US complain about things that other people have had to deal with for years and years.

I'll check with my parents and see if they have a card that has no transaction fees. But if not, it will only be $2.55 for the fee if there is one. So that's not so bad. It is better then sales tax.
