Several more mugs of tea today (I'm definitely going to have trouble sleeping tonight.) Two mugs worth of Lion Mountain Keemun while watching Lincoln on Blu-Ray. Finally.
Then, this evening, the beginning of the end of the curling season, with The Players Championship. This is an international "best of the best" event for both men's and women's teams and it's being broadcast on SN + CBC, so at least the weekend games will be available in much of the northern US. This year it's being broadcast from the completely renovated and rebuilt Maple Leaf Gardens, now part of Ryerson University in Toronto. Amazing what they've done with that historic building. It still has the iconic roof, but now the ice floor is much higher, since they've converted the area below (all 4 floors) to multi-use athletic facility. So the stands that are left were the old "nose-bleed" sections. But means it's wide enough for five sheets of curling ice without squeezing a bit.
