Yeah, after getting used to it I'd say the bottom line is I love what it allows me to do, which is using a tablet to replace my laptop (but not my home pc). But I still don't like the Modern UI much at all. It's just barely acceptable on a tablet, not nearly good enough as a desktop, and I find it rather ugly. Plus the setup frustrations mentioned prior.
