Susaz, i've figured out that sometimes my nook drains itself so quickly after a firmware update. And I can confirm RAH is correct. Reboot your device, power it down and turn it back on. It should solve the problem.
Note: this is a very common problem found with Android devices, as Nook ST is an Android too. Actually the #1 rule to any device firmware updates: reboot.
