I don't know OpenSUSE. Haven't even attempted to install it in *many* years, but Ubuntu upgrades within a dot version are mindlessly simple and a recent complete upgrade from 10.04 to 12.04 was just plain simple. Yes, it took nearly an hour to download everything, but in the end, a reboot and I was running the latest.

I support too many Microsoft users that don't even know how to do security updates. Dumb users are dumb users no matter what the OS.
