What's strange is I don't understand why did Calibre "decided" to open the convert dialog window on the second monitor. Just an hour before it was opened and closed properly on the 1st monitor.



edit: I realize this is an old thread but it did helped me with the latest 0.9.27 version.
I think this is a QT5 quirk (Calibre now uses QT5).
Conversion always opens on my second monitor, even if I have dragged it to the Main monitor before closing/continuing (some other windows do remember their last position).

If you don't regularly use the second,third,Nth monitor, disable it in the control panel until needed
