Question Sideloading FROM a Kindle Fire

I have both a Kindle Fire HD and a Nexus 7. I've sideloaded several apps from the Nexus to the Kindle fire - that's no problem. What I wonder is if anyone has done the opposite?
The Kindle app on the Nexus 7 is not as good in that:
  • It does not offer the text to speech option
  • Bookmarking leaves a lot to be desired
  • Note taking isn't as good
I use my Nexus to proofread ebooks before releasing them. That text to speech feature is very useful because it reads what is actually there and not what I expect it to say. Now I could just use the Kindle Fire to read and make notes but I'd have to fight my wife for it and frankly I prefer the feel and response of the Nexus 7.

Has anyone tried sideloading the Kindle reading app from a Kindle Fire HD and putting it on another android device? If so what's the procedure?
