I agree, for several reasons, not least because Kobo are going to look quite poor in comparison with other readers. If I heard that other manufacturers e-Ink readers will do a month, but a Kobo will do less than a week, I would be strongly pushed away from Kobo. Which raises another point - has anyone heard if other brands have the same problem with things like pockets interfering with processes? I will do a bit of digging around myself, but it might save time if anyone has any information.
Don't know yet, but from what I can see, there's nothing touching the screen now when the cover is closed. There definitely was before. I was trying to eliminate the need to wait +/- 30 second for the sleep to actually kick in - to us, a big inconvenience.

Pulled our old Kobo Wireless out of the drawer. Haven't looked at that in at least 3 months. Battery indicator still shows full charge. Mind you, that's in "Off" mode.

Can't remember the last time I charged my Sony PRS-T1. The GF lost confidence in the Glo, prior to my butchering the cover. Nothing worse than opening your reader away from home, and seeing the Recharge blurb. Hopefully this will hold her for the time being, but I'm still hoping Kobo will come through with a fix.
