Yeah, they're showing up in the "Previews" section of my actual Touch, not just the Desktop on my PC. On my device, I have the "Wishlist" empty, and keep a record elsewhere of books I plan to buy, specifically so I don't activate some routine on my Touch that would keep nagging me to buy things. I just want my Touch for reading.
I understand Kobo is in the business of selling books, and don't mean to stray into the question of whether I bought a stand-alone reading device or a marketing adjunct, but when unrequested previews are downloaded to my Touch, I think they qualify as spam and junk mail.
