I had troubles getting into audiobooks when I first started listening. As others have said the narrator will either make or break an audiobook.
I listen when I am in the car on a long drive, working on the computer doing programming, playing certain video games, and on the long flights I have to do when I visit family on the other side of the country. That 5 to 6 hour flight goes quickly when I am listening to an audiobook.
