I love it for low light reading, usually at about 3/4 brightness, though I don't like to read in the dark with the Paperwhite's screen as the only light source. I also really like it when reading during the day as I turn it up just enough that the text and whiteness on the page "pop" but not enough that it looks like it is lit.

I loved my Nook Simple Touch but just bought the Paperwhite 2 weeks ago. I can't imagine ever going back!
