yes, just checked it....it doesn't work.

If you try and drag the "default.epub" file to the task bar it reverts to a shortcut of the main program only....it will only open the "blank" sigil environment. So, adding the path to the "default.epub" file to the "Target" in the properties is the only way to do it.

Regardless of HOW you make your shortcut to a template, it is very easy to do to make a template and I highly recommend them to anyone who uses sigil regularly.
