DB backup already exists (/media/mmcblk0p1/global.db.pre_db2fs).

Yep.
I had to connect via SSH (using usbnet) and run manually the install script (not the dr800+-setup binary and graphical app), which is in one of the folders.
Deleting "global.db" file from SD root could also fix the problem, but I haven't tested.
You also will need to reindex all your documents.
