Try this
- Logon as the user whose configuration you want to retain - I'll assume it is BigBird
- Go to Calibre->Preferences->Miscellaneous and click the Open calibre configuration directory option
- Leaving the Windows Explorer window open, terminate Calibre (ctrl/Q)
- Copy the Calibre configuration directory which is probably C:\Users\BigBird\AppData\Roaming\calibre to C:\Program Data so that you now have a C:\Program Data\calibre.
- Add an environment variable for BigBird named CALIBRE_CONFIG_DIRECTORY with a value of C:\Program Data\calibre
- Start Calibre and repeat 1 to see where the configuration directory is - it should take you to C:\Program Data\calibre - if it doesn't then something is awry.
- if the previous check is OK, close Calibre, logon on as the other user and create an identical CALIBRE_CONFIG_DIRECTORY environment variable
- Make sure that changes to preferences etc show up for both users, make sure it still works when you install a new version, once you satisfied it works and is sustainable then delete C:\Users\BigBird\AppData\Roaming\calibre and the similar folders in the other account(s)
The advantage of this approach is that any changes in preferences, addition of new plug-ins etc, will be available for all users without any further ado - I think/hope.
