at the gym

I listen to audiobooks all the time at the gym which I attend regularly or when I am walking in the street. Everything depends on the reader. If you get readers like Jim Dale, Jon Rubenstein or Jim Broadbent (whom I am listening to currently) the experience is that of a fine theatrical performance. Go to Audible.com and find out. If on the other hand, you listen to the audible version provided by the Kindle or the Gutenberg project, you will be disappointed or worse, because these versions are computer generated.
