DE is separate from eBook Library. But, DE will not be able to transfer files to the reader unless you are on 32-bit windows with eBook lib installed. However, the files that DE downloads should be able to be copied manually to the Sony and work... as long as the PC and Reader are authorized to the same Adobe ID.
