I just wanted to confirm that if after the factory reset, you could directly apply a newer official firmware e.g. 5.3.3 (instead of 5.3.1) to still fully remove the jailbreak. Thank you, ~m

1. Perform a factory reset (Settings -> Reset device)
2. Re-install the official 5.3.1 update

Both of these steps are required, and must be performed in that order.
