Now *I'm* confused. I'm not much of a romance reader, but I liked having the DANL membership and have bought (and enjoyed) A LOT of books I normally would not have given a second glance.

I tend to buy in batches though, and blow through all of my current credits at once; I use an older non wi-fi reader and prefer to do my book management in bulk.

I like the idea of being able to buy multi-packs of *additional* credits, but I had assumed that I would get to continue the membership model too. I thought that what this change was, but it makes more sense that it is the entire model that is changing. I don't think I like that either; I'd rather purchase a subscription, with the benefit of optional additional credits, rather than to have membership based on purchased credits only.
