not directly with a great deal of ease.

Assuming you have a reasonable level of skill in these areas it would most probably be possible (but the PW is not the easiest of devices to recover at the moment - or indeed in the forseeable future) I would recommend at the very least a serial cable for recovery purposes and some upstart script hacking to begin with.

Possibly crafting/refactoring the existing scripts to ALLOW for awesome to be UNLOADED and then loading the DWM via some for of scripting mechanism would be the answer.

Doukan effectively does this now via the KUAL launcher I believe, but I could be wrong.

Of course using debian and a Xephyr overlay this is entirely possible.

I will have a look at dwm via that method to - but an overlay would be a WAY easier path than replacing what is currently in place.

that's just my opinion other may have a different one.
