It probably has to do with an add-on I have installed, but even if I un-check it while using Firefox, it still tries to download the EXE and sets off my anti-virus alarm.

I had to download it using Internet Explorer (with the "use our downloader" unchecked) before it would just download as a normal ZIP file.
