I loved the last free book from HarperCollins, The City Of Pearl, so I went off to get this latest offering. For some reason I decided to read the terms and conditions, a first for me, and read that the offer is only valid for residents of the U.S. The book downloaded anyway, or I downloaded it anyway, anyway I have the book.

Just wonder why that is in the terms and conditions? What are the implications?
