Thanks for pointing it out to me. I've read both the threads that you've pointed out to me before... but I needed someone to tell me for me to accept the fact.

Amazon has been kind to me. I'm not going to try and circumvent the SO. I can live with it till I can pay the extra money to remove it. Once (If) removed I'll look into the custom screen saver option again.

I know the PRS 350 has custom screens while the Kindle 4 NT /w SO doesn't... but I paid SIGNIFICANTLY more for the Sony than I did for the Kindle!
