I didn't try alpha 1, but so far so good with alpha 2. It is really a lot faster.

I've got a PPC, so I won't be having any hotsync related issues. Will let you know if the pdb document works as expected in Vade Mecum.

Ok, quick testing says it works ok, but I notice that all of the text is in bold. Documents created with the old Sunrise did not do this.

Its going to be interesting to see, now that I have a fully wireless internet capable device, with unmetered flat rate pricing, when and how I'll be using sunrise. Since I can go online anywhere anytime, why not just do so? I think sunrise will still be very useful because of the URL rewriting and "made for small form-factor" documents that it produces. Pocket IE in Windows Mobile 5 is better than previous versions, but it still has trouble making some websites easy to read on a small device.
