I read a lot. I read fairly quickly. I read about 250 books last year; this year so far I'm pushing having read 50. But I've also got a life, and the past few years have been anomalies. I certainly didn't read this many books when my kids were little. Yes, I read to them a lot, but I don't think a 40yo woman should count 87 thousand re-readings of Goodnight Moon on her life-time reading list.
