Todd, I finally got around to looking at the two versions (the sample portions posted). I ended up buying the non-Kindle version. The Kindle version (with the lower SRP price - both were the same with current amazon discounting) is missing the cover art and the sample itself is shorter. Also, there were some odd symbols inserted into the text here and there (the one I remember most was around the paragraph that started "the full moon" - I've delete the samples now, so can't look it up). That small detail was the main reason I went with the format I did, as otherwise they did look nearly identical (minus the cover).
