tshering's suggestion was to manually copy the book. So just drag-and-drop the book onto the devices drive when it is connected.
When you use calibre, can you check the following:
- After sending the book, look on the devices drive and make sure the book is there and named as you would expect from the save template. And whether all the previous books are on the device.
- After disconnection the device, does the processing screen show?
- Does the new book appear in the first place on the mosaic on the device?
- Can you check through the library list that the books aren't listed somewhere there?
- When you reconnect, is the "disappearing" book in the file system of the device?
