Typhoid isn't a major consideration in northern Thailand, but there is heavy flooding every year during the rainy season. Not so bad in the area we'll be in, but I figure it's better to have the vaccine and not need it rather than not have it and worry during the floods.

That's a coïncidence, you and your wife taking those capsules as well.
Last time I wasn't that affected by it, but this time I had slept very poorly and coughing away from my influenza. One has to be in excellent shape, I guess, before taking those things. But I'll travel in 18 days, so I have to have them.
edit: I take Vivotif and it says to not take that with antibiotics....I would chuck the antibiotics.
