Good morning, everyone! I can't seem to get my eye's open today. Anh, today's the day that you finally got up before me. I didn't crawl out of the rack until almost 09:30, and I'm ready to go back again. But first a simple breakfast of Taylors of Harrogate's "Yorkshire" tea, some focaccia and babbaganoush.

I was part of the test study 15 years ago for the oral typhoid vaccine. ANYTHING is better than getting the typhoid shots! They feel like someone is shooting a flame thrower into your arm, the pain lasting for an hour afterwards, then getting sick for a couple of days too. I guess I was lucky as the oral doses never bothered my stomach, and seems to be OK this time around as well.
Somewhere along the line, we seem to have misplaced our yellow shot record booklets... Bummer... That was almost as much of a memory inducer as looking at my old passports. I have three expired ones, and each has 2-4 extra pagebooks attached and have to be held closed with thick rubberbands. My newest passport is almost pristine, with just a few pages stamped. It's one of the new 'electronic' passports, and feels very different. The Kansai Traveler's Clinic gave us new shot record booklets, but they are printed on plain paper. I've ordered a couple of the better ones from one of the world health organizations. Should be here in time for next week's shots.
OK... I'd better get some cleaning done, or my wife will never let me take my nap!
