Usbnetwork and usb ports

Good afternoon,

First of all, thank you for all the work which is done here. It's very nice even if I'm a simple user.

I'm not sure this is the right place to post, as I'm not a developer, far from
it! Sorry about the possible mistake but it has a link with the contents of this part of the forum.

I installed usbnetwork on my Kindle Touch. So far I haven't really figure out how to use it to ssh or other things but playing with things that I don't fully understand is fun.

Anyway, right now among other things, after plugging my Kindle (I think on usbnetwork mode), to upload a book on the Kindle, my usb mouse didn't not work anymore. The usb ports are not seen any more and I got an error at the connection saying "can't enumerate port so and so".

There is a more detailed description of the problem at the address there, but in FRENCH!
http://forum.ubuntu-fr.org/viewtopic.php?id=1201241

The problem exists under Ubuntu, openSUSE and Windows. So it's a hardware problem, which prevents the usb system of the computer to work properly.

The problem with the mouse is minor, as I'm using a laptop, with a touchpad.

The real headache is there are also, I think, interferences with the boot process.

Does someone already meet that kind of problem ?

Thank you in advance,

Jeanphi
