ixtab thanks a lot! will try that now... even though from a first glance I couldn't understand how to change Kindle's usbnetwork IP. I did enter into the root of my Kindle (usbnet/etc/config) and a Terminal window appeared where I couldn't type anything.... I will continue searching though
