I hope you won't mind, but I'm adjusting your thread title slightly:
eReader is a reading software, the Sony device is called simply Reader. Just to make things a bit more confusing, the eReader software, and it's e-book format are completely incompatible with Sony's Reader. Because of that,we try to avoid referring to one by the other's name. The names are so close that it's plenty confusing, and we're trying to prevent folks from buying eReader books and later discovering that they won't work on their Sony Reader. It's happened more than you might imagine.
