Twobob tinyapps.org link (http://tinyapps.org/docs/e-ink-monitor.html) is very specific about using uppercase in these commands (debugOn)

If I have written these commands incorrectly I guess that my mac wouldn't have recognized my Kindle as a Networking device (RDNIS)
